If you are looking for a fun night out, go to a company that knows how to run a casino, Harrahs in Chester or any of the casinos in Atlantic City. Other complaints with this place, slots seem very tight (you don't see any hand payouts) & the bathrooms are dirty. And then once I got the food, it was cold. It took over an hour from the time we got in line until the time we got our food. The only restaurant open on 12/26 was the food court. Don't waste your time with their player program, it gives you nothing. I was told by an employee the president of the company doesn't believe in special lines, etc. Other than a different card, premium has no benefits. I also want to point out that I am a premium player here as they matched my status at Harrahs. First, it takes forever to both drop off (30 mins) & pick up your car (40 mins) from valet. They should have their act together as they had over a year in another building. If this is how Penn National manages a casino, I would avoid all their properties. Instead head to Atlantic City if you're in the PA/NJ area. If you've played at Atlantic City and Vegas forget Parx. #5 It opened Mid-Dec and I guess I can excuse the fact that they had a lot of machines that were 'out of service'. #4 Self Parking - EEK!!!!! no covered parking. It's not a TABLE GAME where the employee places a hold chip in your spot. Gee, where I play slots when you get up from the seat - the seat is then available. People actually get up, step away from the machine and are quick to tell you it's their machine.

We expressed our concern to a few employees and got nowhere. VERY MISLEADING, NEVER EXPLAINED when we registered for the card and WAS NOT expected ( having gambled before at other casinos). He cashed out his winnings from the 1 play he did and thought the remainder of his $25 free slot play was on his card. That money stayed with the machine - we didn't know this. After 1 play he decided to switch machines(now remember he didn't play all $25). Hubby had $25 of free slot play, he inserted card and entered $25 when prompted to enter amount. Whatever you enter gets taken OFF your card and downloaded ONTO the machine. Once you insert your card you enter the amount you want to play. Never before have we experienced such a break from the 'norm' in regards to casinos: #1 BEWARE of free slot play. My husband and I have gambled for years at Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
